FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Temporary Administrative Associate to support medical office administrative functions in a professional healthcare environment. This 3-month temporary assignment is responsible for reviewing and maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, supporting referral coordination, completing data entry, assisting with front and back office duties, and answering multi-line phone systems. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish, have medical office experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential patient information with accuracy and professionalism.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and maintaining patient records and files
- Assisting with scheduling appointments
- Supporting referral coordination and related administrative follow-up
- Completing data entry using Excel
- Performing front office administrative duties
- Performing back office administrative duties
- Answering phones using a multi-line phone system
- Handling confidential files and patient information appropriately
- Maintaining accurate records and organized documentation
- Communicating professionally with patients, staff, and internal departments
- Supporting daily medical office administrative needs
- Performing other duties as assigned
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Bilingual Spanish skills required
- Minimum 2 years of medical office experience required
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills
- Basic computer software knowledge, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Outlook
- Experience scheduling appointments required
- Experience with referrals preferred
- Experience handling confidential files and patient information
- Valid California driver's license required
- Basic automobile insurance required
- Ability to pass Live Scan DOJ background check
- Ability to work part-time, approximately 20 to 30 hours per week
- Ability to complete a 3-month temporary assignment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional demeanor and customer service mindset
- Ability to work onsite in Hemet, CA
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to communicate by phone, email, and in person throughout the workday
- Ability to answer phones and use a multi-line phone system throughout the shift
- Ability to review patient records, confidential files, appointment information, referrals, spreadsheets, and computer screens for extended periods
- Ability to use hands and fingers for typing, data entry, filing, scanning, and standard office tasks
- Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the office as needed
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move standard office files, documents, or supplies
