Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Warehouse Support team member to play a vital role in our warehouse operations. This energetic position involves supporting inventory management, material handling, and logistics processes to ensure smooth and efficient distribution. Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely.
- Assist with inventory control by conducting stock counts, updating inventory management software, and ensuring accurate record-keeping using warehouse management systems like AS400.
- Support shipping and receiving activities by preparing packages, verifying orders, and ensuring proper documentation for order fulfillment.
- Maintain safety protocols by using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to OSHA standards, and following safety regulations during all manual handling and heavy lifting tasks.
- Participate in warehouse stocking, picking & packing, order picking, and load & unload operations to meet daily distribution goals.
- Operate material handling equipment efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall workflow.
Skills
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software like AS400.
- Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper PPE use.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting with proper technique.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing accuracy.
- Experience in warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, stocking, and materials handling.
- Technical proficiency with warehouse management systems and logistics software.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
