Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Mix and match paints accurately using color codes and custom blending techniques.
- Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and finishing touches using airless paint spraying equipment and hand tools.
- Buff, polish, and detail painted surfaces to achieve a flawless finish.
- Inspect completed work for quality control, ensuring all paint jobs meet safety and aesthetic standards
Experience
- Proven dealership or auto body shop experience as an auto painter, body work experience
- Skilled in buffing, and detailing.
- Experience operating hand tools, airless paint sprayers, and other relevant equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely during vehicle restoration projects.
- Familiarity with auto restoration processes including auto painting, heavy lifting tasks
