Warehouse Selector
Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Start time 11:00 AM – work until the job is complete
Overtime: Possible
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Selector candidates to support daily warehouse operations. This role requires computer and technical skills in addition to physical order selection duties to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient workflow.
What You’ll Do
- Read or scan labels using handheld scanners or computer systems to identify slot locations, product descriptions, and required quantities
- Accurately pull correct quantities of products from designated slot locations
- Place items into totes or boxes for order fulfillment
- Push totes or boxes along a static conveyor line while continuing to pick items
- Use warehouse management systems and electronic devices throughout the shift
- Complete orders accurately, using multiple totes or boxes as needed
- Work safely to prevent injury and damage to people and products
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Required: computer and technical skills, including the ability to:
- Use handheld scanners and warehouse systems
- Navigate basic computer screens and input data accurately
- Learn and follow system-based work instructions
- Ability to perform accurate visual inspections
- Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to:
- Follow written and electronic instructions
- Understand safety protocols
- Communicate effectively in the workplace
- Ability to work a schedule starting at 11:00 AM and continue until work is completed
