As the General Manager, you are the driving force behind the hotel's success. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including guest satisfaction, team leadership, financial performance, sales initiatives, and community engagement. You will ensure the property consistently delivers outstanding service while achieving business goals and maintaining brand standards.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Interview, hire, and train a high-performing team to deliver the "AmericInn" experience.
- Manage budgets, review revenue reports, and implement savvy changes to maximize the bottom line.
- Conduct daily "white glove" inspections to maintain property condition and cleanliness standards.
- Represent Blue Sky Hospitality in DeWitt, IA, building relationships with local businesses and organizations.
- Master the Property Management System (PMS) and ensure every brand standard is met with excellence.
What You Bring to the Table:
- You are a motivator who leads by example, remaining calm under pressure and exercising expert judgment.
- You have a strong background in Front Desk operations, reservations, and franchise standards.
- You’re organized, computer-literate, and have a sharp eye for the small things that make a big difference to guests.
- You understand the "24/7" nature of hospitality and are ready to work a flexible schedule to ensure success.
- A valid driver’s license is required, along with the ability to travel for brand conferences and corporate meetings.
Position Details & Benefits
- Salary Range: $55,000 – $62,000 per year
