Overview
Join our team of experienced contractors in curating and building construction. We build homes, offices, banks, rv parks, remodels and more. BRACO has been building homes for 30 years and has workers who have been with us for 25 years with tons of experience to hand down.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, and finishing
- Support carpentry activities including framing, trim carpentry, formwork construction, and metal stud framing
- Install rebar, perform masonry work, and execute stucco or plastering tasks as directed by supervisors
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of construction plans
- Conduct concrete forming, concrete cutting, and concrete finishing to achieve specified specifications
- Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Requirements
- Willing to preform manual labor and get your hands dirty learning the trade.
- Mechanical knowledge including operation of concrete mixers, heavy equipment, and power tools
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Strong understanding of construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, work at heights, and operate heavy machinery safely
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in renovation, restoration, or tile laying projects
