Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals
- Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop effective treatment plans
- Educate clients on self-care practices and pain management strategies to enhance ongoing wellness
- Maintain detailed documentation of treatments provided and client progress in compliance with licensing standards
- Ensure a welcoming, comfortable environment that prioritizes client service and satisfaction
- Collaborate with other wellness professionals as needed to support comprehensive patient care
Skills
- Proven experience in client service with a focus on personalized care is preferred, but not required
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and occupational health practices
- Excellent patient assessment skills to identify specific needs and customize treatments accordingly
- Exceptional customer service skills that foster trust and rapport with clients
- Knowledge of pain management techniques and holistic wellness approaches
- Prior experience is highly desirable, but not required
- Ability and desire to work in a team setting
