We are a full service utility company serving the Greater houston area seeking a dedicated and skilled Water and Wastewater Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of multiple water and wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes, heavy equipment operation, and data collection techniques. The Water and Wastewater Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our water treatment systems. Your relevant skills in plumbing and maintenance will further enhance the reliability of our operations.
Must have a valid drivers license with acceptable driving record. Must pass backgound check and submit to drug testing prior to employment.
Must have a Valid TCEQ certification or 1 year experience in water and wastewater treatment experience.
Must had highschool diploma or GED
Duties
- Operate and monitor water treatment and wastewater treatment facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on treatment equipment..
- Conduct data collection and analysis to track system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in plumbing tasks related to the treatment systems, ensuring proper functionality.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required for equipment handling and facility upkeep.
- Proven experience in water and wastewater treatment
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices within the water and wastewater industry is required.
- Operate Company provided Truck.
