Passionate about such in the workplace, entry-level considered as well as experienced, seeking humble, ambitious, wise, servant-leader Construction Safety Managers to develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs that promote a secure and compliant workplace. Your expertise will ensure that safety standards are integrated into daily operations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and risk mitigation. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across all construction sites to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations by performing root cause analysis to determine underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
- Deliver engaging training sessions on topics such as OSHA compliance, occupational health, first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and workers' compensation law to empower employees with vital safety knowledge.
- Prepare detailed report writing on safety performance metrics, incident reports, and compliance documentation for internal review and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop emergency response plans and ensure readiness for potential incidents.
- Stay current with evolving safety regulations and industry best practices to continuously enhance the organization’s EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) program.
Skills
- Proven expertise in OSHA regulations, EPA standards, workers' compensation law, and occupational health practices.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing environments and associated safety challenges.
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to document incidents, audits, and corrective actions clearly and thoroughly.
- Skilled in conducting training & development sessions that improve safety awareness across all levels of staff.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis effectively to identify systemic issues behind safety incidents.
- Certified in first aid, CPR, and other relevant safety certifications preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills to foster a culture of safety through clear messaging and leadership in the Construction Industry.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
