For over 32 years, Sugar Creek Montessori School has provided an exceptional traditional Montessori education in a nurturing, child-centered environment. We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and Montessori-certified Primary Lead Teacher to guide a mixed-age classroom of children ages 3–6.
What You'll Do
- Lead a traditional Montessori Primary classroom following Montessori philosophy and practices.
- Prepare and maintain a beautiful, engaging Montessori environment.
- Present Montessori lessons and materials with fidelity and enthusiasm.
- Observe, assess, and support each child's individual growth and development.
- Foster independence, concentration, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
- Participate in school events, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Montessori Primary Certification (AMS, AMI, MACTE-accredited, or equivalent).
- Experience leading a Montessori Primary classroom preferred.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for authentic Montessori education and child development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive school community.
