Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader Needed. (Driver)
Operate and lead a landscape maintenance crew while ensuring that TexaScapes quality standards and a safe work environment are maintained. This includes manual labor and landscape equipment operations. Properly maintain and care for all equipment and tools.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
This is a crew leader position. Landscape properties should be able to be maintained with the crew after first verbal or written instruction. Responsible for keeping crew time records.
Expectations: Be on time, be sober, be safe. Drivers License in good standing.
Leadership: This is a leadership position. Candidate must be able to lead a 2 to 5 - person crew to safely accomplish tasks on time, creating quality results. The Maintenance Crew Leader should be able to execute the project with the crew after first verbal or written instruction. This position will report directly to the Chief of Operations and will be responsible for maintaining properties, coaching their assigned crew and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years Landscape experience required.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Drivers License
- Ability to back a large trailer
- Must have a clean driving record
- Able to consistently pass drug tests
- On-time and dependable.
Compensation and Benefits: Competitive hourly pay (~$22-28/Hr. with experience). Retirement Plan, Health Insurance, Workers Compensation Coverage.
Typical Operating Hours: 7am - 3:30pm M-F
