Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Must be dependable, professional, and punctual
- Must be physically able to lift, carry, and move furniture
- Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day
- Furniture delivery, moving, or unloading experience preferred
- Must be able to follow directions and work efficiently with the driver
- Able to communicate clearly with the driver, dispatch, and customers
- Must handle customer furniture and property with care
- Must be self-motivated and ready to work
- Drug test may be required
Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with unloading furniture from a 26 ft box truck
- Carry and move furniture safely during deliveries
- Assist with loading and organizing furniture when needed
- Help complete local furniture deliveries safely and on time
- Protect furniture from damage during handling and delivery
- Follow the driver's instructions and assigned delivery schedule
- Communicate any delivery issues or concerns to the driver or dispatch
- Maintain a clean and organized truck work area
- Follow all company safety and operational standards
- Represent Nicholas & Johnson Transport LLC professionally with customers
Compensation
- $125 per day
- 5 days per week
- Tuesday through Saturday
- Paid weekly
- Consistent local delivery opportunities
Schedule
Tuesday through Saturday.
Operating Area
Louisiana region.
Local routes only.
Workers are home daily.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
This is a furniture delivery helper and truck unloading position. This is not a driver position.
