Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service within the restaurant. Your exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize restaurant flow.
- Provide menus and inform guests about specials or promotions.
- Assist with guest inquiries and address any concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations.
- Expedite if needed, must be able to take orders to go.
- Third party ordering platforms - door dash take out orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering questions regarding the menu or services offered.
Skills
- Previous Host/Host experience is preferred, along with a background in food service or restaurant settings.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems such r Micros POS is advantageous.
- Experience in hotel environments or guest services is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
