Retail & Coffee Associate
BUGSBY'S BACKLOT CIGARS & COFFEE is seeking enthusiastic team members to join our growing retail and coffee operation in Historic Olde Town Conyers.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages
- Assist customers with premium cigar selections
- Operate POS system
- Maintain store cleanliness and presentation
- Support inventory management
Qualifications:
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to multitask
- Dependable attendance
- Retail, restaurant, hospitality, or coffee experience preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old

EMPLOYEE REFERRAL PROGRAMREFER A FRIEND
Current Team Members Receive:
$75 after referral completes 60 days
Additional $50 after referral completes 120 days
Ideal Entry level Skills to possess:
- Manage sales transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards within the café and cigar retail areas, adhering to food handling regulations
- Support food preparation and food service activities as needed to enhance guest experience
- Demonstrate excellent time management by efficiently balancing multiple tasks during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
Skills
- Proven barista experience with a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques and café operations
- Experience in cigar sales or knowledge of cigars and tobacco products is highly desirable
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect authentically with diverse guests
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for smooth transactions
- Strong sales skills with a focus on upselling and product knowledge to maximize revenue opportunities
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a lively environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry operations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic food preparation techniques
