Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and dusting in designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas regularly.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or reporting issues to management.
- Ensure proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Respond promptly to any cleaning requests or emergencies that arise during shifts.
- Washing dishes that may have been missed from previous business day.
- Once cleaning duties have been fulfilled, occasionally helping the kitchen staff with food prep.
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial roles is preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while performing multiple tasks.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
