Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on automotive electrical systems, engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components using specialized diagnostic tools and schematics.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire alignments, brake repairs, and system inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques safely to disassemble, repair, or replace vehicle parts in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose complex automotive problems related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), electrical wiring, and sensor calibration.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete repair reports, and communicate effectively with team members and customers about repair status.
Skills
- Expertise in automotive diagnostics using advanced diagnostic tools and software.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and electronic control modules.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical manuals for precise repairs.
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, alignment equipment, and manual handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and working in various positions for extended periods.
- STATE INSPECTION LICENSE
