Job Summary
Bridgeway Senior Living is seeking a skilled Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various types of flooring materials in residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Install various types of flooring such as hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile
- Prepare subfloors by leveling, cleaning, and removing any debris
- Repair or replace damaged flooring materials
- Follow blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation
- Provide excellent floor care advice to clients
Qualifications
- Proven experience in flooring installation including tile laying and hardwood installation
- Knowledge of construction estimating for material requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Proficiency in caulking, fixture installation, and restoration techniques
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in remodeling projects
- Familiarity with floor care maintenance practices
