CDB is hiring experienced equipment operators for our Iowa City location. We are an underground utility construction company working in the telecommunications and power industries. Our operators operate mini-excavators, backhoes, plows, dozers, and/or horizontal directional drills on a crew that installs conduit and fiber-optic cable in various urban and rural environments. Your skills will directly contribute to vital infrastructure projects in a rewarding outdoor work environment.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license. A Class A CDL is preferred and those candidates who have one will be given priority.
- 2+ years of construction experience, preferably in utility construction.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able and available for day travel M-F, and at times overnight, in the Central & Eastern Iowa area.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
