Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Lighting Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing, installing and programming dimming systems on Cruise Ships and Yachts. This role requires a strong understanding of lighting systems and the ability to travel abroad for up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Install lighting equipment according to specifications. This includes dimmers, relays, control panels, etc.
- Program lighting scenes in accordance to operational requirements.
- Conduct service and survey checks on dimming systems.
- Collaborate with operational teams to implement and program lighting solutions that enhance the overall visual experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to dimming systems.
Skills
- Proficiency in programming architectural lighting systems (Helvar preferred) and control systems.
- Strong technical and electronic skills with the ability to use an ohmmeter for testing electrical components.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with other technicians.
- Flexibility to travel and work abroad.
- Experience with Helvar, Strand, ETC or Lutron is a must.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
