Part-Time Optometrist – Two Sundays per Month
EYES.NYC is a thriving, independently owned optometry practice located in the heart of Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, co-owned by an optometrist and an optician. As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a compassionate and motivated Part-Time Optometrist to join our team two Sundays per month (every other Sunday).
Whether you're an experienced OD looking for additional income or a recent graduate seeking a supportive environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Schedule
- Two Sundays per month
- 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Lunch break built into the schedule
- Last patient scheduled 45 minutes before closing
Compensation
Base Pay
Performance Incentives
- 10% commission on reimbursed professional services ($80 - $150 per day)
- $25 for each reimbursed punctal plug procedure
- 20% of collected revenue from myopia management or specialty contact lens services you perform

Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD)
- Active New York State Optometry License
Please note: This is a 1099 independent contractor position. You are responsible for your own professional liability insurance, state licensure, and tax obligations.
