Job Overview:
Admail West is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler / Driver I to support our fast-paced production and warehouse operations. In this role, you'll be responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and delivering materials that keep our business running efficiently. Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 2:00pm to 10:30pm (Swing Shift) with occasional overtime.
Duties:
As a Material Handler / Driver I, you will perform a variety of warehouse and inventory management duties, including:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and supplies.
- Pick and stage materials for production and customer orders.
- Utilize inventory management software to accurately track inventory movements.
- Perform shipping and receiving activities.
- Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
- Move materials throughout the facility using powered industrial equipment.
- Deliver inventory and supplies between departments and to/from local vendors and suppliers.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Prepare and organize nightly mail for acceptance by the United States Postal Service (USPS).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and operating guidelines.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects; talk; and hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
