MarvelMyo & Speech is a growing, airway-focused speech therapy and orofacial myofunctional therapy practice dedicated to providing evidence-informed, interdisciplinary care across the lifespan. We collaborate closely with dentists, orthodontists, ENTs, sleep physicians, lactation consultants, bodyworkers, and other healthcare professionals to address the underlying causes of oral dysfunction not simply the symptoms.
We are seeking a passionate, highly motivated Speech-Language Pathologist with advanced knowledge and experience in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) to join our team in a part-time hybrid role (this could quickly develop into full-time), providing both telehealth services and in-person treatment within a collaborating pediatric dental practice.
Position Summary
The Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist will evaluate and treat pediatric and adult patients with oral motor, feeding, airway, speech, and myofunctional disorders using an individualized, interdisciplinary approach. The ideal candidate understands that OMT extends far beyond isolated exercises and is able to identify and treat underlying functional impairments that influence breathing, swallowing, chewing, speech production, sleep quality, and craniofacial growth.
This position requires strong clinical reasoning, excellent patient education skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with referring providers.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology license (or ability to obtain)
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Formal training in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy
