What You'll Do
As a Physical Therapist at Rafa Therapies, you will evaluate and treat patients with a variety of rehabilitation needs while developing individualized plans of care based on each patient's condition, goals, and functional limitations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations.
- Develop individualized plans of care and measurable rehabilitation goals.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic exercise and therapeutic activities.
- Provide neuromuscular re-education, gait and balance training, manual therapy, and other appropriate interventions.
- Treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, pain, weakness, impaired mobility, balance limitations, and functional impairments.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when needed.
- Educate patients and families about home exercise programs, injury prevention, mobility, and strategies for improving function.
- Complete evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
- Communicate with physicians, referring providers, and other healthcare professionals as appropriate.
- Maintain professional, ethical, and patient-centered standards of care.
Who We're Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is clinically motivated, dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working with patients from different backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current Michigan Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Michigan licensure.
- Strong communication and patient education skills.
- Ability to perform physical therapy evaluations and develop appropriate plans of care.
- Commitment to providing respectful, compassionate, and high-quality patient care.
Experience
New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Previous outpatient or orthopedic experience is helpful, but not required. We are more interested in finding a therapist who is motivated to learn, provides excellent patient care, and wants to grow professionally.
Compensation
$79,040–$93,600 per year
Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and clinical background.

Work Environment
This is an in-person outpatient clinical position working directly with patients at our Detroit location.
