Job Summary
Join our dynamic logistics team as a Forklift Driver Material Handler! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse operations by operating various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks. Your expertise will ensure the safe and accurate movement, loading, and unloading of goods within our distribution center. Responsibilities
- Operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, lift trucks, and barcode scanning systems for logistics accuracy.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, ensuring correct quantities through order picker tools and warehouse management systems.
- Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while adhering to safety standards in production environments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by utilizing warehouse management systems and performing regular stock counts.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and documentation.
- Perform routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs to ensure optimal operation of all heavy equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or similar heavy equipment within a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory management, order picking, shipping & receiving processes.
- Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and materials handling equipment operation.
- Warehouse experience with a focus on materials handling, heavy lifting, and equipment repair is preferred.
- Valid certification for forklift operation; additional certifications like reach truck or clamp truck operator are a plus.

Pay: $25.04 - $30.16 per hour
