Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse Senior Home Care, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives outside the hospital setting.
In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive care plans formulated into task lists for caregivers, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. Prior experience in personal care for elderly is a plus, but we can train.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work autonomously while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including current meds, med history reviews and notice any subtle cognition slow downs.
- Develop tailored care plans.
- Represent the company professionally in speech, dress, demeanor, attitude (we can provide logo polo shirts. Khaki pants are fine)
- Gain and retain a great deal of industry knowledge for business savvy marketing help.
- Assist in keeping recert calendar accurate (MS Excel & calendar in client page).
- Maintain accurate records in our industry software and learn to bypass it's quirks
- Learn and follow process to solve any complaints at the lowest level, escalate when needed to owner of company
- Be willing to fill in for a caregiver in a staffing emergency for the team.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of all medical records and patient information.
- Participate in team photos and allow your image to be used for markting along with the team
- If of YOUR interest, we may create opportunities to market to doctors, do job fairs, or train caregivers
Qualifications
- Valid state of Virginia or multi-state nursing license w/ current registration.
- Positive attitude

- Conservative professional appearance and business retail wardrobe
- Hoyer lift experience, confidence, comfort
- Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and acute care procedures necessary for comprehensive patient assessment.
- It's helpful to have experience with discharge planning, diagnostic evaluation, intake processes, and utilization management essential for effective case management.
- Familiarity wi/ managed care principles, inpatient / outpatient settings including geriatrics and OR experience desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively while adhering to HIPAA standards.

Pay: $31.76 - $38.00 per hour
