Job Title: Ribbon Fiber Splicer – Data Center (High OT + Per Diem)
Location: Abilene, TX
Project: Long-term data center build
Schedule: 3 weeks on / 1 week off | 5 x 12s
Overtime: 15+ hours every week
Pay: $27 to $36 per hour (based on ribbon experience) (up to $40 based on high count cable and data center experience)
Per Diem: $178/day paid 7 days per week
Type: 6 month Contract-to-Hire

What You’ll Be Doing
- High-volume ribbon fiber splicing (mass fusion) in a data center environment
- OTDR testing, troubleshooting, and validating fiber performance
- Keeping clean, accurate documentation of all splicing and test results
- Working efficiently to hit production targets and deadlines
- Maintaining strict quality and safety standards on site
What We Need From You
- 2+ year of ribbon fiber splicing experience
- Strong mass fusion splicing skills
- 2+ years hands-on OTDR testing and troubleshooting experience
- Ability to work long hours consistently (5 x 12s + OT)
- Willing to travel and commit to a 3 weeks on / 1 week off rotation
- Data center experience is a strong plus
