Mermaid Spa & Nail Salon is hiring for experienced nail technicians. We are located in the heart of Pilsen in Chicago, IL. We are open on Monday-Saturday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Our goal is to provide our clients with the best professional services. We want to make “your dream nails come true.” The position is commission based and allows flexibility to make your own schedule and build your clientele as we gain recognition as the local go-to nail salon of the neighborhood. Requirements
- Valid Illinois Licence (preferred)
- Part-time and full-time positions available
- Commission based (50% per service provided) + 100% of tips
- Previous experience as a nail technician
- Strong knowledge of manicures, pedicures, nail applications (acyclic, gel, dipped, Gel-X), detail-orientated nail designs, and techniques for hand and feet massages
- Stay current with the latest nail trends and techniques
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
Pay: $25.33 - $30.51 per hour
