We are currently seeking a Warehouse & Delivery Technician to partner with our Baltimore, MD location. This is a cross-functional, full-time role; one in which you will be required to do any job duty required due to business needs. Pay is based on the job being done.
A successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required
- Safety-conscious with knowledge of industry safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage your time well
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Identify and communicate concerns/risk immediately
Warehouse ($18/hour):
- Identify incoming parts inventory and properly store in assigned bin locations
- Identify parts needed and bin locations from paper invoices
- Picking ordered parts from storage shelves/bins by part number from invoices
- Sorting picked orders by delivery location
- Operating handling equipment according to company safety regulations
- Loading delivery vehicles by route/customer/part
- Performing general warehouse duties as necessary
Tire and Wheel ($19/hour):
- Maintain and ensures compliance with all Adrian policies and procedures
- Ability to mount/balance tire & wheel assemblies to GM supplied specifications
- Identify and communicate risk immediately
- Identify parts needed and bin locations from paper invoices
Delivery Driver ($20/hour):
- Responsible to operate a box truck with liftgate for daily deliveries on a dedicated local route on behalf of your employer
- Potential of interstate travel
- Ability to hand load and unload delivery items accurately to match the invoice
- Operating handling equipment according to company safety regulations
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of your company owned vehicle
Education & Requirements:
- Previous delivery experience preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license; Class C with airbrake endorsement
- Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a “Driver” as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy
- Acceptable driving record (Adrian Steel authorized)
