Impact Physical Therapy is a growing, privately owned outpatient physical therapy practice serving the Hillsboro and Banks communities. We are currently seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join our team at our Hillsboro and banks location. This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into full-time hours for the right candidate.
What You'll Do
As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play an important role in supporting both our clinical and administrative teams while helping create an outstanding patient experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting patients through individualized exercise programs under the direct supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.
- Supporting treatment sessions by assisting with modalities and treatment-related tasks, such as ice or heat application, as permitted by state law.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe clinic environment through housekeeping duties, including:
- Laundry
- Sanitizing treatment tables and equipment
- Dusting and general clinic upkeep
- Assisting with front office responsibilities, including:
- Answering phones
- Scheduling appointments
- Collecting co-pays and deductibles
- Filing and faxing documents
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and team members.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Supporting special projects and other duties as assigned to help advance our mission and core values.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree or working on a degree in Exercise Science, Human Physiology, Biology, or a related field
- Previous experience in a physical therapy clinic, medical office, or healthcare setting
- Experience working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Current CPR certification
