Required Education and Experience:
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; and
- Two (2) years of experience in servicing automotive equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) and/or Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) certifications.
Available Schedule:
- Four 6-hour days per week
The anticipated hiring range for the Fleet Service Laborer position is $19.92 (first step) to $20.91 or $21.96 (second or third step). The City of Medford determines starting pay based on an evaluation of relevant education, experience, andqualifications as provided by the applicant in their application materials, alongside others who perform work of comparable character consistent with the Oregon Equal Pay Act. Three steps are included in this salary range, allowing opportunity for annual movement through the steps.
