Schedule: Full-time 10am - 8pm Thursday - Saturday. Fourth day can be discussed.
Pay Range: $20 - $24 / hr depending on experience
*Additional weekend and evening differentials

What You’ll Do
The Ultimate Liaison: Serve as the critical bridge of communication between doctors, veterinary technicians, clients, and referring veterinary clinics.
Workflow Champion: Help support specialists and technicians in their day-to-day flow to provide quality patient care - tracking patient diagnostics, organizing lab work, and anticipating the doctor's next move.
Compassionate service & Financial Trust: Deliver in-hospital updates to anxious pet owners and confidently present financial estimates and treatment plans.
Organization and attention to detail: Prepare detailed patient discharge reports, coordinate scheduling and medical records, and help manage prescriptions with external pharmacies.
Tech-savvy: Utilize a variety of veterinary software and cloud platforms to keep the department moving efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
At least 2 years of veterinary experience (eg. you’ve worked in veterinary client care or veterinary assisting) and you carry yourself with poise and professionalism.
You are driven, highly organized, and comfortable working independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You are excited to be the right hand support to industry leading veterinary specialists.
You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of medical terminology, with a knack for handling sensitive client updates and financial conversations with compassion and clarity.
You know your way around a computer. Familiarity with (or a quick ability to learn) ezyVet, SmartFlow, Vet Rocket, and Vet CT is highly preferred. Familiarity with reference labs (eg Idexx and Antech) and online pharmacies (eg. Vetsource and Chewy) is a major plus!
