RBT Supervisor / ABA Program Lead (QASP-Level)
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Compensation: $28.00 – $34.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM), with occasional evenings/weekends as needed
Position Overview
Bight Bay Care (BB Care) is seeking a dedicated and experienced RBT Supervisor / ABA Program Lead to support clinical excellence and day-to-day service delivery across our centers.
In this role, you will work under the supervision of a BCBA / Clinical Director to oversee ABA programming, supervise Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and ensure high-quality, consistent care for our clients.
This is a leadership-track position designed for individuals preparing for BCBA-level responsibilities while remaining hands-on in clinical operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Oversight
- Support development and implementation of individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision
- Ensure programs are implemented with fidelity across all assigned clients
- Monitor client progress and recommend program adjustments based on data
Supervision & Training
- Provide direct supervision, coaching, and feedback to RBTs
- Conduct competency checks and ensure adherence to clinical protocols
- Assist with onboarding and ongoing training of new staff
Assessment & Program Support
- Assist in conducting assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland)
- Support identification of target behaviors and skill acquisition goals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Family & Team Collaboration
- Participate in caregiver training and parent support sessions
- Communicate effectively with families regarding progress and expectations
- Collaborate with BCBAs, Clinical Directors, and operations team
Operations & Scheduling Support
- Help maintain consistent service delivery and client attendance
- Support schedule adjustments, coverage, and staffing coordination
- Ensure compliance with payer, Medicaid, and ACP documentation standards
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, ABA, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of ABA or behavior intervention experience
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities
- Ability to supervise, coach, and support clinical staff
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations if needed
Required Certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- RBT Certification (preferred or must obtain within 60 days)
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- Negative TB test (within required timeframe)
- Background check clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a supervisory or lead RBT role
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
- Experience with CentralReach or similar EMR systems
- Currently pursuing BCBA certification (highly preferred)
