The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients seeking mental health services, creating a welcoming, organized, and supportive environment. This role blends administrative coordination with compassionate client interaction, ensuring smooth daily operations and reinforcing the practice’s commitment to high‑quality, client‑centered care.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly.
- Answer phone with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and clear communication.
- Manage front desk operations including entering therapist's schedules, verifying insurance, collecting copays, and handling incoming correspondence.
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, proofreading, and document preparation using Microsoft Office applications like Word and Excel.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the waiting area and ensure it is presentable.
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries accurately and directing calls or messages appropriately.
