We are seeking reliable and compassionate Non-Medical Transportation (NMT) Drivers to transport individuals safely to and from programs in accordance with Ohio DODD regulations.
Drivers operate company shuttle buses, transit vans, and mini vans. No CDL or endorsement is required.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport individuals to scheduled destinations
- Assist passengers entering and exiting vehicles as needed
- Conduct vehicle safety inspections and maintain cleanliness
- Follow all traffic laws, agency policies, and DODD regulations
- Maintain accurate transportation logs and documentation
- Communicate professionally with staff, individuals served, and families
- Respond appropriately in emergency situations
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to pass background check, physical, and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible Monday–Friday hours
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not requiredBenefits
