Salary Range: $115,000–$125,000
A well-established professional services organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and oversee key financial functions, including general ledger management, financial reporting, payroll, audits, and tax compliance. This position offers the opportunity to partner closely with leadership, lead a high-performing team, and play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of a growing organization.

Oversee the general ledger and manage month-end and year-end close processes

Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance

Manage trust accounting activities and daily cash flow operations

Oversee banking relationships, cash management, and bank reconciliations

Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and coordinate annual audit activities

Manage tax compliance processes and partner with external advisors on filings and reporting requirements

Supervise accounting staff and provide leadership, coaching, and performance management

Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely, accurate payroll administration and compliance

Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

5+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility

Prior leadership or people management experience preferred

Hands-on payroll experience, including payroll processing

Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance

Professional services industry experience is a plus
