Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Sewing Machine Operator to be a part of our growing team. The ideal candidate will have proven knowledge and production sewing experience in operating both overlock and single needle industrial sewing machines, preferably with cushion background. This is the perfect role for an individual who is a self-driven, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented problem solver who is interested in the field of exterior design.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00 DOE
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Attach trimmings to sewn pieces according to work order instructions and diagrams
- Operate and maintain sewing machines and related parts, including pattern plates, needles, presser feet, automatic cutting tools and blades
- Read and interpret work orders and adjust machines and materials to match, including selecting fabric, thread, and needles, mounting necessary attachments and double-checking settings before beginning a large run
- Adheres to company safety guidelines and ensures their work area is cleaned up at the end of each workday
- Meet or exceed consistent daily and weekly output and quality goals
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience with industrial sewing machines with both single and overlock stitch
- Knowledge of different fabric types and garment construction
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Able to sit for long periods of time
- Good physical (hand/eye) coordination, along with accuracy and speed
