Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CAG Manager/DDP to oversee operations in our Adult Day Training Center in Powder Springs, Cobb. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DBHDD, working in a Day Center with Developmental Disabilities, and experience as a DDP, with the ability to lead and inspire a team while ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to work safety standards. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations, staff training, and inventory control.
Duties
- . Ensuring the effective execution of day-to-day programming for participants.
- Developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating programs catering to individual and group needs and capabilities.
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living.
- Aiding clients with personal care and hygiene.
- Recommending the termination of clients who do not meet the Day Away Program criteria to the IDDAD with the CEO's approval.
- Collaborating with IDDAD in planning alternative services if the day service is terminated, under the CEO's approval.
- Ensuring adequate training for Day Program staff to cover vacations and emergencies. Coordinating and supervising the activities of CAG staff, volunteers, and students.
- Overseeing the Day Training Center budget, including acquiring supplies and snacks.
- Preparing and submitting monthly attendance forms utilizing the Therapy System.
- Providing regular updates and communication to IDDAD.
- Check/ audit daily therapy documentation, including client attendance, vital signs, bowel tracking, community outings, and ISP goal tracking (Wednesday and Friday Goal Tracking Day).
- Monthly HRST Tracking for each CAG client. Quarterly DDP report for each client.
- CAG MANAGER/DDP to schedule and prepare the PRE-ISP REPORT two weeks before the ISP meeting.
- CAG MANAGER/DDP is responsible for the monthly CAG staff meeting, the monthly CAG staff schedule, the monthly CAG Snacks purchase (Malamav will provide the funds), the monthly activity schedule, and staff daily assignments, and participates and coordinates all community outings for the CAG.
- The CAG Manager/DDP must be creative, compassionate, respectful, and a great leader.

Experience
- - A minimum of a 2- or 4-year college degree
- At least three years of experience in a supervisory role within an Adult Day program with individuals with developmental disabilities and elderly patients.

- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in working with individuals diagnosed with Developmental Disabilities and Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.
- Proven experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating program activities.
- Demonstrated capability in managing and directing staff and volunteers.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and decision-making/problem-solving abilities.
- Current certification in CPR training.
- Current certification in CPI.

- Access to a vehicle, along with appropriate license and insurance coverage.
- A sound understanding of community resources.

Pay: $20.93 - $25.00 per hour
