Responsibilities
- Design and implement customized strength and conditioning training programs that align with clients’ goals, fitness levels, and health conditions
- Conduct fitness assessments, including biomechanics analysis, body mechanics evaluation, and physiology-based testing to inform program development
- Provide coaching on proper exercise techniques, manual handling, and safe weight handling in the workplace to maximize effectiveness and prevent injury
- Lead group fitness classes or personal training sessions with enthusiasm, ensuring client engagement and motivation
- Educate clients on anatomy, physiology, and sports coaching principles to enhance their understanding of body mechanics and overall fitness
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of first aid procedures, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and first aid protocols for emergency response readiness
- Foster excellent client communication by listening to individual needs, providing feedback, and building lasting relationships based on trust and support
Qualifications
- Certification as a Personal Trainer from a recognized organization; additional certifications in sports coaching or strength training instruction are highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience working within the fitness industry or health club environment with a focus on physical fitness training and client service
- Strong knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and strength & conditioning training programs
- Proficiency in program design tailored to diverse populations including athletes or those seeking general fitness improvements
- Valid certifications in CPR, first aid, AED operation, with ongoing commitment to safety standards
- Excellent coaching skills complemented by team leadership abilities and experience teaching group fitness classes
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients of all ages and backgrounds while maintaining a positive attitude
