The Medical Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinic to ensure efficient workflow, high-quality patient care, and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role supervises administrative staff, coordinates office functions, and supports providers in maintaining smooth clinic operations.
Essential Functions
- Supervise daily clinic operations, including staff scheduling, patient flow, and coordination of office activities to ensure efficient workflow.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and all applicable healthcare policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records management in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee medical administrative support functions, including appointment scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, referrals, and managed care coordination.
- Monitor office productivity and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Serve as a point of contact for staff, patients, and external vendors regarding administrative and operational matters.
- Assist with training, supervision, and performance management of administrative staff.
- Ensure a professional, organized, and patient-centered office environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration within a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, insurance verification, and managed care processes.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems and standard office software.
- Speaks Korean fluently
- Basic computer skills needed
