Most new cooks start out prepping as they familiarize themselves with our ingredients and cuisine. Then, they learn how to craft our salads, appetizers, soups, and desserts. After that, advancement to the sautée and grill begins.
The responsibilities of kitchen staff are typically:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in a finedining setting, ensuring presentation and taste meet restaurant standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations such as ServSafe.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and execute menus, accommodating dietary restrictions as needed.
- Provide exceptional food service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests.
- Utilize knife skills and culinary techniques to enhance meal preparation efficiency.
Pay and rate of advancement on the line are entirely based on experience and performance in the kitchen, with pay ranging from $18 to $26 an hour.

- Have experience working in a fine-dining setting, or are willing to learn
- Are open-minded and eager to learn new cooking methods and recipes
- Are enthusiastic, positive, and remain calm under pressure
- Are ServSafe certified, or are willingto obtain a ServSafe certification within three months of hiringdate
- Are drug-free,and will help us promote a safe work environment
- Are detail-oriented,and take pride in impeccable dish presentation
- Are creative
- Must have a working sense of taste,smell,and possess the physical ability to lift heavy pots/pans and objects (up to 50lbs),and to be on your feet for several hours at a time
