Overview
Join our growing team as an Appliance & Furniture Delivery Driver/Helper! In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for delivering appliances and furniture to customers' homes while providing outstanding customer service. You'll also assist with the installation, setup, and basic troubleshooting of appliances, ensuring every delivery is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Schedule & Availability
- This is a full-time position working six (6) days per week: Monday through Saturday.
- Candidates must have reliable availability to work the scheduled days each week.
- Occasional overnight or two-day delivery routes may be required based on business needs. Applicants must be willing and able to travel overnight when assigned.
- Flexibility to work until deliveries are completed each day is expected.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate 26-foot box trucks and delivery vehicles while following all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Deliver appliances and furniture safely and efficiently using proper moving equipment and techniques to prevent damage to merchandise, customers' homes, and personal property.
- Load, unload, move, and position large appliances and furniture while following proper lifting techniques and safety procedures.
- Protect floors, walls, doorways, stairways, and other areas of customers' homes during delivery and installation.
- Carefully maneuver large items through tight spaces while maintaining a clean, damage-free work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally, answering customer questions, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
- Assist with the assembly, installation, and setup of appliances and furniture in customers' homes.
- Perform basic appliance troubleshooting and minor repairs using mechanical knowledge and schematics when needed.
- Learn and efficiently operate the company's delivery applications and mobile technology to manage routes, complete deliveries, obtain customer signatures, capture required photos, and accurately document delivery information.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, paperwork, and equipment logs.
- Consistently provide a positive customer experience by maintaining strong customer satisfaction and survey scores through professionalism, communication, and quality workmanship.
- Follow all company procedures and performance standards to help achieve and maintain excellent customer survey results.
- Work effectively with team members to complete deliveries safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or helper in appliance, furniture, or similar delivery environments preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret schematics and perform basic troubleshooting or repairs.
- Experience with appliance repair, HVAC systems, refrigeration, or field service is a plus.
- Ability to safely operate a 26-foot box truck.
- Strong customer service and communication skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Experience assembling and installing appliances or furniture is preferred.
- Comfortable learning and using mobile applications and technology throughout the workday.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude.
- Commitment to handling merchandise with care and treating every customer's home with professionalism and respect.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to safely lift, carry, push, and pull heavy appliances and furniture weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance and up to 50 pounds independently.
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.

Pay: $215.00 - $235.00 per day
