Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team and assist individuals in accessing vital healthcare services. This role involves conducting phone screenings to determine eligibility for enhanced services covered by the Medicaid Waiver Program in New York. As the first point of contact for many potential clients, you will play a critical role in ensuring that individuals receive the support they need.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct phone screenings with individuals to assess their eligibility for Medicaid waiver services.
- Utilize a structured script to collect accurate and necessary information efficiently.
- Communicate empathetically with clients, answering questions and providing guidance on the next steps.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all client interactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine and enhance the screening process.
- Stay informed about Medicaid waiver guidelines and policies to provide up-to-date information to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish or Russian is required.
- Previous experience in customer service, healthcare support, or related fields preferred.
- Experience in healthcare in New York is a major plus.
- Familiarity with Medicaid programs or healthcare services is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and compassionate guidance.
- Ability to work independently in a structured, phone-based role.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
