American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PICU position requiring at least 18 months of pediatric experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Large academic hospital PICU setting
-
Pediatric patient population ranging from infants up to 25 years of age
-
Specializes in epilepsy monitoring and care requiring inotrope management
-
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)

Every other holiday coverage is required
-
Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

EKG/ECG rhythm recognition experience required

Experience with inotropes required

NIHSS certification preferred

Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in the PICU or pediatric specialty required prior to any travel experience

Minimum 18 months of recent pediatric experience required (travel experience accepted)

Two professional references required for consideration

Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Provides specialized nursing care to pediatric patients, including those requiring epilepsy monitoring and inotrope management

ECG rhythm recognition assessment and safeMedicate assessment are completed during orientation, and acceptable scores on both are required to continue

Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
