What you’ll do
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with product inquiries.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities.
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring product availability.
- Work alongside a team of other motivated individuals to accomplish store goals and complete daily tasks.
- Utilize effective phone etiquette to assist customers with inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Apply basic math skills to manage transactions and perform retail math calculations as needed.
Basic qualifications
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer engagement.
- Experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role.
Preferred qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency to cater to a diverse customer base.
- Previous experience in merchandising or stocking in a grocery store setting.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems.
