We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Staff to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in a care home or home care setting. Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support clients in adhering to personalised care plans tailored to their individual needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Facilitate participation in social activities and community outings where appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Assist with medication administration as authorised and trained to do so
- Drive clients to appointments or activities using company vehicles, subject to holding a valid driving licence
Skills

Valid driving licence with experience driving various vehicles (desirable)
- Previous experience working within care homes or providing home care services is advantageous
- Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Proficient IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and records
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards individuals with diverse needs
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
