Job Summary:
The Device Testing & Logistics Technician supports warehouse and reverse logistics operations with a focus on testing and grading but will also receive, inspection, track, refurbish, fulfil, and ship mobile devices and related electronic assets. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, serialized asset accountability, quality standards, and customer-specific processing requirements while supporting efficient and secure operational workflows.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Device Testing & Grading
- Perform functional testing and diagnostic evaluation of mobile devices, tablets, and related electronics using approved tools and processes.
- Grade devices based on cosmetic condition, functionality, and customer-specific quality standards.
- Identify defects, missing components, battery issues, screen damage, and functionality failures.
- Perform device wiping, resets, unlocking verification, software updates, and configuration activities as required.
- Accurately document device condition, test results, serial numbers, IMEI information, and inventory status within company systems.
Reverse Logistics/Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate tracking of serialized inventory and device status throughout the reverse logistics process.
- Ensure compliance with asset handling, security, and chain-of-custody procedures.
- Process inbound returns, inspections, transfers, and inventory transactions within warehouse management or ERP systems
Education and Experience Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
6 months to 1-year related warehouse experience and/or training
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in the testing and grading of electronic equipment, preferably consumer cellular devices
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
