- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans for patients with orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric needs.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and caregivers on therapy exercises, injury prevention, and health maintenance strategies.
- Assist in outpatient rehabilitation center activities and participate in ongoing training to stay current with current practices and innovations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
- Experience working with geriatric patients or neurological conditions in outpatient or inpatient settings.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems for efficient documentation and communication.
- Skilled in discharge planning, care plan development, and working within clinical documentation standards.
- Familiarity with post acute care to manage complex cases effectively.
