Offering a variety of different products through multiple OEM vendors, Dairy Resources facilitates everything from new parlor installs, standard and after hours service, scheduled maintenance, and wash/chemical delivery and analysis needs. BASIC FUNCTION:
- A basic understanding of mechanical equipment
- Ability to adapt and work on a variety of equipment. This includes:
- High and low volt electrical
- Refrigeration systems and chillers
- Vacuum systems
- Pneumatic systems
- Plumbing
- Hydraulic systems
- Programmable logic controls
- Variable frequency drives
- R/O systems
- Plate coolers and heat transfer products
- A variety of electrical and air driven pumps
- Fans
- Industrial washing machines.
- Work safely on site, follow protocol on farms, adhere to each dairymen's wants and needs
- Willingness to learn and improve as a technician, attend in house and vendor trainings, ability to work closely with other technicians as a team
- Work in different environments, hot or cold, dry or wet, dirty or clean.
- Lift, pull, push heavy objects
- Communicate effectively with, Service manager, dairymen, and peers within the service group
- Working around a sometimes inconsistent schedule, perform after hours calls efficiently when on rotation
QUALIFICATIONS/BACKGROUND:
· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
· EPA Minimum type 2, or universal refrigeration certification, or ability to complete training/certification within 60 days AFTER probationary period.
· Strong organizational skill, including good written and oral communication skills
· Previous service experience in the dairy-related industry preferred
· Ability to travel locally is required
· Must possess a valid driver’s license
· Motivated, self-starter who can work independently, yet function and participate as part of a team
· Must pass pre-employment physical and drug test

Compensation starts at approximately $29 - 43/hr (based on experience)
