AMPM Employment is currently hiring Production Utility Operators for a manufacturing facility in the Greenville, Ohio area. This position assists extrusion operators in the production of plastic sheet products while helping maintain quality, safety, and production standards.
We are currently hiring for both day and night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assist extrusion operators throughout the production process
- Support the manufacturing of plastic sheet products to customer specifications
- Identify and handle raw materials correctly
- Mix raw materials according to production orders
- Package, label, and tag finished products accurately
- Maintain support materials including skids, polyfilm, and cores
- Keep work areas clean and safe
- Follow all operational, quality, and safety procedures
- Perform additional production duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Comfortable wearing PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, hair nets, and safety shoes
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and assist with moving production materials
