Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team. We have day and nighttime shifts available. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage routes effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Drive dump truck to transport and dump loose materials, including asphalt, millings, sand, dirt, gravel, crushed rock, etc
- must be able to identify the types of material that is being hauled
- must be able to read directions, understand gps, maps road signs, dot markings and labeling
- adhere to safety operating procedures and driving procedures
- complete all required daily paperwork (daily time ticket, weekly time ticket, loads tickets, pre-trip and post trip inspection report, fuel sheet
- keep record of types of material you hauled and how many loads you hauled (load tickets)
- must fuel truck at the end of each shift
- must maintain a clean truck
- must be able to work independently
- must maintain a clean driving record
Requirements:
- Valid Class B CDL (2 years minimum)
- Must have 2 years of dump truck experience
- Must have asphalt hauling experience
- Must have reliable transportation to and from truck yard
Schedule and Rate:
- 8- 10 hours day shift, weekends on call, home daily
- we also have night shift available
- Job will be a full- time job
- Salary Starts $ 20.00 per hour for day time drivers
- Salary Starts $25.00 per hour for night time drivers
